For the European Society of Paediatric Oncology, we built a new, clean redesigned site on a budget. Ready to launch right before the European Cancer conference in Amsterdam. SIOP Europe’s mission is to integrate Research, Care and Education and to bring a community of health professionals together to address the cure rate and quality for cure for children, diagnosed with cancer in Europe.
WordPress was chosen as CMS, especially since the ease of use and versatility, although this was not a really complex project regarding content or information architecture. For an organisation like SIOPE it was easy to add, update and highlight specific content, pictures or other documents, while we progressed towards a finalised front-end of the site. With a mobile-first, responsive approach we gradually worked in a very agile manner towards the site that just got released.
